Using FlashAir
Things you can do with FlashAir
Using the FlashAir (with Wireless LAN function) card (commercially
available), you can connect the camera to a Wi-Fi enabled smartphone or
PC and view or import images from the FlashAir card.
When using a FlashAir card, read the FlashAir card instruction manual
carefully, and comply with the instructions.
Setting the camera
1 Insert a FlashAir card into the camera, and turns on the power.
2 Select [FlashAir] in the playback menu and press the A button.
3 Select setting and press the A button.
Submenu 2 Application
Start/Stop Connect to or disconnect from Wi-Fi.
Starting option [Manual Start] or [Auto Start] can be selected.
The camera will not go into sleep mode while connected to Wi-Fi.
Smartphone application is available.

Connecting manually
1 Select [Manual Start] in [Starting option] and press A.
2 Select [
Start
] and press A.
3 Select the camera’s FlashAir as the access point using the device to be
connected.
Refer to the Instruction Manual of the device for the method of connecting
to the access point.
When prompted to provide a password, enter the password set in the
card.
4 Open an internet browser on the device to be connected, and enter
http://FlashAir/ in the address bar.
The camera does not automatically turn off while the connection is
established.
5 Select [
Stop
] and press the A button to end the connection.
Turning off the power also ends the connection.
